Ham a Holiday Tradition and what to do with the leftovers.

10346301_884762654870350_7045432050710726004_nThere are so many holidays that traditionally serve ham; Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter and these holidays are relatively close together so one can easily be all hammed out and not want to even look at it ever again. Well I am going to give you ideas of how to use your leftover ham in new ways so no one in your family will say “Ham again, ugh!”

Breakfast Burritoes are a great way to use your left overs. Just add some scrambled egg, to left over potatoes and ham and there you go. The possibilities are endless.

These are some ham, egg, and cheese cups I baked in a muffin tin at 350 degrees. A great item to have if you were serving a lot of people the morning after the holidays.

How to add ham to Breakfast:

  • Omelettes
  • Quiche
  • Breakfast Burritos
  • Breakfast Cups
  • Ham, Egg, & Cheese Biscuits
I could go on but you get the idea basically if you normally make it for breakfast just add some ham for some extra protein and deliciousness!

Now on to Lunch & Dinner ideas:

  • Ham & Cheese Sandwiches (Try this recipe and let me know if you are able to eat just one.)

I always have some of these in the cupboard because it makes a lot and you only need to add water. Plus if you add ham and cheese and then put it all in a bread bowl it makes for one kingly meal!

Ham & Pineapple Pizza my favorite!

Homemade Calzones using Pillsbury Crescent Rolls for the Crust. My girls loved them!

  • Ham & Pineapple Pizza
  • Ham, Pepperoni, and Mozzarella Calzones
  • Ham & Cheese Crescents (One of my favorites)
  • Cube up some ham and you have a great topping for salads, soups, and even baked potatoes!

I hope these ideas help with your leftover ham and I would love to know what is your favorite way to use Baked Ham?
